Privacy Policy

I don’t use analytics to monitor who visits my site, nor tracking pixels to follow visitors’ activity after they leave the site. I collect as little information about my site’s visitors as possible because I believe they have the right to remain anonymous online and not have their data collected and sold.

If you find that the site is collecting or using data in ways not described here, please contact me so I can correct it.

Data collected

The following information may be collected from a visitor when interacting with the site.

When leaving a comment:

• The content entered in the comments form
• The display name entered as the comment author
• The visitor’s IP address

How data is used

Visitor comment content may be checked through WordPress’s automated spam detection service, and the IP address compared against known spam lists. Once approved, the comment content and display name are publicly visible on the site to other visitors. The visitor’s IP address is not publicly visible.

This data is not sold to anyone.

How long data is retained

If you leave a comment, the comment and its data are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. You can request to have your comment(s) deleted by leaving a comment from the same IP address, requesting deletion.

Which site display theme you have currently selected. This information is saved when you use the theme switcher to change your theme display preferences, and is used to display the site with the same theme when you load a new page.
